Hi everyone!  Team Orthobee and Ninja (the cat) just wanted to wish everyone Happy Halloween!

Here are some tips for a safe Halloween:
1. Attach a glow stick to your child's costume or to their candy bag so drivers can see them when they cross the street.
2.  Know the route your kids will be taking if you aren't going with them.  Make sure they check in with you periodically!
3.  Set a curfue for them to come home.
4.  Serve your kids a filling meal before trick or treating and they won't be tempted to eat any candy before they bring it home for you to check.
5.  As bad as it sounds, this is just a fact of life now.  Get on the internet and check your local state website for sex offenders.  Look up your zip code and it should have a list of registered offenders in your area that includes street addresses.  Make sure that your kids stay away from these houses!
6.  Last, but not least, make sure your children are respectful of the people in the neighborhood they're planning to visit!

Hopefully all you trick-or-treaters out there get a lot of candy tonight!  Whatever you don't want, just bring it into our office on Thursday, November 3rd.  You'll get a dollar for every one pound of candy you bring in!
