- Never write down your PIN on your card, on a sticky note, in a notebook or anywhere else-memorize it instead.
- Don't write your credit card number or account number on a post card, a letter, or anything else that will be mailed out.
- If you view your bank account online, don't use the "automatic sign on" feature.
- Invest in a shredder or shredding scissors. Shred all paperwork that contains your credit card information, such as bank statements. Also shred all unwanted credit card solicitations.
